VirtualBox -noraw0 -vm vmname fails, what version of VirtualBox were you using? I dont even see those options available. I’m using VirtualBox 3.1.4.
VirtualBox –help
Sun VirtualBox Graphical User Interface 3.1.4
(C) 2005-2010 Sun Microsystems, Inc.
All rights reserved.
Usage:
–startvm start a VM by specifying its UUID or name
–rmode sdl|image select different render mode (default is sdl)
–dbg enable the GUI debug menu
–debug like –dbg and show debug windows at VM startup
–debug-command-line like –dbg and show command line window at VM startup
–debug-statistics like –dbg and show statistics window at VM startup
–no-debug disable the GUI debug menu and debug windows
–start-paused start the VM in the paused state
–start-running start the VM running (for overriding –debug*)
The following environment variables are evaluated:
VBOX_GUI_DBG_ENABLED enable the GUI debug menu if set
VBOX_GUI_DBG_AUTO_SHOW show debug windows at VM startup
VBOX_GUI_NO_DEBUGGER disable the GUI debug menu and debug windows
Hi Rick. Somehow I mistyped the options, is -norawr0 instead of -noraw0 and with -startvm , the options of the example are for VBoxSDL. The virtual machine can be started either with VirtualBox or VBoxSDL from the command line. I updated the post to show both options, thanks for your comment.

Have a look at it Juanma.

Hello,
I have currently added FOM to my management group and it has been sitting for about 1 hour with message “Waiting for 1 manager to join”.
How long did it take for FOM to join the management group?
Thank you and muchas gracias,
Luis
Hi Luis, thanks for commenting :-)
Adding the FOM to the cluster should take no more than a few minutes, sometimes even less. So maybe there is something wrong with your FOM or the cluster configuration itself.
Juanma.
Hello Luis,
I have got exactly the same problem with two HP P4500G2 and a FOM.
Do you have a solution for me?
Many thanks.
Jaap

http://i1233.photobucket.com/albums/ff393/pacohxc1/Tech-Faq/pantalla_blade_vmware.jpg
juan manuel te agradeceria cualquier comentario respecto a esto
Gracias y Saludos!
Hola Francisco.
http://kb.vmware.com/selfservice/microsites/search.do?language=en_US&cmd=displayKC&externalId=1018754
http://h18000.www1.hp.com/products/servers/options/tool/hp_memtool.html
Juanma.

Hello,
I’ve managed to install CMC 9.5 on Windows Server 2012 BUT %) FOM won’t launch now, the kernel is freaking out sadly.
Have you managed to install it somehow although I know HP has stated that Win2k12 won’t be in support till SAN iQ v10.
Thanks in advance,
(Abdullah)^2
